Lions Club International

Leo Club:

- We have approximately 20 members of the Leo Club with nearly all members attending on a regular basis

- Our club officers are: President Shasta Kimbel, Vice-President Laura Anderson, Secretary Kayley Zimmerman, Treasurer Laura Anderson

- Our club advisors are: Tytus Cornejo, Tunie Sparman and Linda Metzen

- Our club was formed for any interested Wellington High School students

- Our club was started at the first of the 2005-2006 School Year and received our International Charter on November 28, 2005

- The 2006-2007 year has seen the club doing many different activities.
   * Sponsored a face-painting booth at the annual Aviation Fest.
   * Sponsored the community safety Yellow-Dot program through the Kansas Departing
On Aging.
   * Attended the Mid-Winter Rally, District Convention and plans on being at the
State and International Conventions this summer.
   * Co-Hosting the Annual Mexican Dinner with the Wellington Noon Lions Club.
   * Sponsoring their 2nd Annual Oldies Prom at the local Senior Citizen Center
